Gustave Flaubert immagina che si dileguino il rotolio dei carri, il chiasso delle voci ed il latrato dei cani, dalla città, mentre la donna si slaccia il cappello, alla miniatura simbolistica per l’approdo in un’isola tranquilla. Ines ha posato per uno scatto al bianconero, con la risoluzione grafica che si percepisce sgranata. Lei passeggia sulla riva d’un fiume. Dall’outfit, interamente al bianco, emergerebbe un cappello logoro, in sostituzione d’uno pneumatico abbandonato, che sarebbe stato pescato utilizzando un ramo tagliato dalla pianta, e trattenuto con le mani. Uno sposalizio del fiume risplenderebbe di meno, se comparato allo sposalizio del mare, anche laddove l’acqua indicasse un percorso (simbolicamente di vita), contro la temuta perdita nel bosco. Qui Ines rimpiazzerebbe il cane a passeggio sull’argine, allenandolo a raccogliere il bastone lanciato per lui. Certamente l’uomo deve rispettare la natura, evitando d’inquinare.

Ines posed for a shot in black and white, with the graphic resolution that we perceive grainy. She walks on the shore of a river. From the outfit, completely in white, a worn out hat, replacing an abandoned tyre, which would have been fished using a branch cut from a plant, and held by the hands, would emerge. A marriage of the river would be less shining, in a comparison with a marriage of the sea, also where the water indicated a path (symbolically of life), against the fear of getting lost in the woods. Here Ines would replace the act of walking the dog on the embankment, training it to pick up the stick thrown for it. Surely the man has to respect the nature, avoiding the pollution.
